Monday 09/19/2011

Home from the gym and NOT happy with my workout :(  Made it to 1200lbs again on the leg press but didn't press the 10 reps I wanted - so I am pissed at myself - FAIL!  The rest of the workout felt like I didn't push hard enough.   FAIL!  Maybe I need to take a week off and re group - who knows.  Just tonight I feel like I am an EPIC FAIL!

Late Night Ramblings

So here I sit at 430am...been up since 230am - go figure.  Little sore from the workout, but it won't really hit me til Friday - always 2 days later LOL  Been surfing the internet for the best price on a "Body Blade" - pretty cool piece of equipment actually.  Paris suggested it to me tonight during our workout. I am wanting to get my upper body caught up to my lower and seems that will help - lol - as long as I don't use it to beat the hell out of someone!  With the crazy workouts I do, the upper is moving along marvelous :)  I am  happy with my results and with my trainer :)  I told him he was sadistic tonight but I loved it lol

Not much is really going on, since I am up I was able to get caught up on birthday cards and letters that I needed to get out.  Used to be really good about writing letters and sending cards...cause I love sending REAL mail - just needed to make time for it.  

Back to bed for me - or at least try anyway.  Hope everyone is doing well...

Rambling...

Last nights workout was awesome - legs - but I have to wonder sometimes - why do I put my body through so much hell knowing that I am going to be in a ton of pain the next few days!  I didn't sleep well from the pain, can barely walk today from the pain...I must be crazy cause I love it so much! LOL


I find it hysterical that some chick went to the owner of the gym after she saw me pushing massive weight on leg press and told him that my trainer (Paris) was going to end up blowing my knees out or hurting me cause that was too much weight for me to handle.  LMAO Rick looked at this fool and told her she didn't get it!  He told her "Michelle pushes 1200lbs for fun!  What she is pressing now is nothing!"   I mean seriously?  You ran to the owner of the gym?  If Paris didn't think I could push the weight he sure as hell wouldn't have me doing it!  Furthermore, this chick needs to realize that when she saw me it was AFTER I had done 180 freaking reps and was on my last 20!  Get a grip and mind your own damn business!  I told Paris, to please point this chick out to me next time she is in the gym. He said she 'used' to be a trainer at Bally's....my comment to that "Used to be is the key word".


If people have an issue with me, what I do, my trainer, woman up and come to me - don't be a bitch and run to the owners of the gym!


I am NOT your typical female - I DON'T lift the kiddie weights, I can play with the big boys and hold my own and from time to time surpass them.  I am not afraid of sweat or the hard work...I love the haters :)

new personal best....

1200 lbs 5 reps AFTER 6 sets adding 2 plates per side each set :) Yes I am darn proud of this!  Just because someone told me it was impossible - I HAD to prove them wrong!


Last Wednesday (08/24/11) I was able to push 930lbs for 10 reps....the on Monday (08/29/11) I pushed 1018lbs for 2 reps and tonight (09/02/11) I did 1200lbs for 5 reps!  So within 5 days each time just about I was about to add an additional 100+ pounds and push it out!  FREAKIN UNREAL!!  I can't wait to see what I can do next!
